Educational Philosophy

Our goal at College Heights Cooperative Preschool is to provide the very best in Early Childhood Education. Our emphasis is on the individual child and helping each one grow intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. It appears that the preschool child learns best through sensory experiences, problem solving, exploration, observation, manipulation, and play. Our curriculum is carefully planned to take advantage of the ways in which children learn. As a church sponsored school, we feel special a obligation to help each child develop a positive self image, a feeling of worth as a person, and his/her concept of having a unique place in God's plan for the world.
